Three older Southern Belles, sitting on a veranda and drink mint julieps are talking about how wonderful their husbands are.
The first one goes "My husband...he just adores me! Why last week he bought me one of those new fancy convertible town cars...in cherry red!" the second lady oh'ed and ah'ed over the very fancy car sitting right in front of the porch. The third lady smiled and said "That's nice."
The second lady said "My husband...he loves me so much, he just bought for me a 5 carat diamond ring!" which she proceeds to flash at the other two ladies. The first lady oh'ed and ah'ed while the third lady smiled and said "That's nice."
The first and second lady turn to the third and asked her if her husband had recently gotten her anything. They noted with glee she did not sport a new car or any new rings.
She smiled and said "My husband...lovingly bought me elocution lessons so that I would smile and say That's nice...instead of Fuck you!"
