Started so I don't get yelled at in /gu by every female (including Xorne) when we discuss baseball during a raid.

First question:

4 3rd basemen on my team (Don't ask, I'm not sure how it happened either). Mark Reynolds, Ryan Braun, Adrian Beltre and Atkins. I can start 2 while the other 2 ride the pine or I use them for trade bait for another OF. Which 2 do I start? I'm thinking of starting Braun and Reynolds and watching to see if that big game the other night by Atkins was a fluke or he's turning it around. I may start Beltre when he comes back from that busted finger in my UTIL spot since he seems to average a few more SBs then Orlando Hudson. Thoughts? H2H, non-keeper.

P.S. Every baseball-bashing comment will be met with a hearty "Fuck you!" and a small train at my earliest convenience (ask Mandobo if I'm kidding Razz

i'd say play more EQ

i tried fantasy baseball once, and i was no good, so here's the advice i'd give you:

keep the 3 uninjured guys, then when it seems that Atkins is fading, ditch him

I can't play EQ at work, but I can manage my FBB team. Atkins has been the suck all year, I'm hoping the last game was a turn-around type game, but I'm not starting him until he can string together at least 2 multi hit games.

1. Trade all 4 for Youkilis. If you're on yahoo, he has 1B,3B and OF eligibility and he is going off.

2. Smack anyone that yells in guild chat for discussing baseball.

3. If the above does not work, get access to the front page and write about Fantasy Baseball and about how much ass the BoSox are kicking.

4. Learn how to draft.

5. Wear less pink and be less gay.

My first few picks in the draft are all doing great. I picked 3b like round 5 and got Atkins. It was a good pick.... at the time. I tried to pick up Youkilis but waiver was too high. Sad

I drafted Youkilis like the second to last round because he's always on base and the Sox were going to score a ton. Picked up Chavez as my initial starter but he was sucking and dropped him for Teahan to replace Frank Thomas at Utility. Now Chavez has 2 HR's on my Sox.

Yeh I had him before when he got that W earlier in the year, but I can't free up a roster spot until he's guaranteed to stay up. I know he's up for 2 games, but not anymore then that.

told ya on miller, on a side note, i almost got in to a fight with a family of yankee fans at the game today. Why were Yankee fans in Detroit, I have no idea, but I wasnt about to let them sit through a game without hearin about how much their team sucks
