Hey all, Good to see you guys still having fun in the world of Norrath. Hope all is well.

I just like to drop by from time to time to say hello to my old friends. Nice to see you all still chugging along.
I have been spending my days lost in the world of Middle-earth in Lotro bidding my time until Warhammer online comes out.

Healinoob we need to hook up for lunch soon. Take care all.

things are good, working 60-70 hours / week but Im enjoying it so its all good, aside from that I havent been up to a whole lot, played some wow off and on...think I have a 37 rogue lol. Played some eq but that just makes me sad, you really cant accomplish anything in eq on a couple hours here and there, starting to see why those softcore punks took like 4 years to hit 60 lol. If kala wasnt still 70 and ....lol I dont even know how many expansions behind Id probably have time to log in a raid and maybe exp here and there but I dont have the time or will to level up, flag key aa or whatever needs to be done so I just toy with the idea of logging in wiseling from time to time until I remember its not installed and my account isnt active lol. Sant you slacker, you should level kala for me! slacker gnome

Edit

PS, I bet I still out dps you punk rangers!

As someone trying to catch up now it sucks hard, probably even more than it used to. Unless you like kiting for like 10 hours at a clip.

PS: I could be dead and still out dps you.

Hi frogadin.

EQ is a lot different in some ways no.

Non-raiders can get reasonably caught up farming the new cultural.

Solteris requires only 8 missions to be flagged, etc.

Not going to tell you it's a joke, but it's not TSS.

I actually miss the hardcore flagging requirements. Kept the noobs out of the high end zones. But then games like WoW went with the liberal mentality of "Hey lets give everyone a trophy, even if they lose." It pretty much ruined the game for me, that and PvP ruins the integrity of most games for me because people end up exploiting or crying so much that the company has to change it every 2 weeks.

Thats why I'm enjoying myself in Middle-earth. Mature community, great graphics and the lore behind it. If anyone else plays, I'm on the Landroval server, names Krucify.

accualy with expansions coming out once a year now its shouldnt be that bad. Iv stoped right after i killed aero, so i wouldnt know what tss is about. Gratz on killing stuff btw you guys are plowing threw expansions fast. I miss pally chat channel with deciding who gets to plow before raids, and sk's disagreeing whatever a pally said. Maybe once school settles down i can take a crack at trying to play again.

Seriously, anyone thinking about coming back the flagging is not a significant issue any longer. Guilds can raid players into raid zones (85/15). Expansions only come out once a year so there is plenty of time to get flagged. Flagging missions in TBS were actually interesting, not the time sinks of TSS when it first came out. Even TSS flagging has improved with raid dropped backflag items on mobs that are farmed and faction hits from raid encounters. To SOE's credit, they have done a lot to make it easy for people to get back into EQ.

And thanks for all the gratz from former AD members. We have worked hard these last few months and are hitting on most cylinders most nights these days.

However the grouping situation still blows, probably even more so.

And Compass, what is up with the Royals finally spending some dinero?
