Hockey player that got slashed in the throat last week.
Warning: At around 2 min in, not faint for the heart. Don't watch if you don't like blood. (This was a broadcast on live television and they replayed it, so I felt it was OK to post on a forum with a disclaimer).

Yeah i must have seen this 100x over the last few days, it was pretty scary to say the least. The last time something like this happened was a goalie in Buffalo some years ago, took a skate to the neck. Zednick's accident was in Buffalo also....

That's because 19 years ago the accident was with someone on the Sabres - Zednik's accident was versus the Sabres. Weird eh? |

he's alive and just was upgraded to ummm...i think good condition. He's out of ICU now.

Next time you all see a gory murder movie remember that there are people who experiece similar stuff in RL (and don't enjoy it)
It's a relief he's ok. He lost 1/3 of his blood before the bleeding was controlled.
