I'm a raid leader and I have never sworn in /rs or in any other communication when things went wrong.
Now, going "WHY AREN'T TANKS ON THOSE ADDS" or "SHORTBUS" or "why wasn't he healed!" is something I've done that I probably shouldn't do. SMILEY<img mce_tsrc="
Overall I'd say I'm pretty darn calm though. Getting angry distracts from the focus of actually leading the raid, which is bad for everyone, and I don't like the idea of letting 50+ people down by getting irrationally angry. |

A good raid leader is someone who can inspire people do do better, and calling them Fing idiots or similar on a consistent basis is usually counter productive. The difference is that between a military commander who leads by virtue of his (or her) office, as opposed to a political leader who leads by virtue of their personality. Sometimes military commanders can lead in both ways, and they are the ones history remembers kindly, but usually that is not the case. To be successful both types of leaders need superior organizational skills. |
These are like words from heaven. |
