| server merger, maybe. i'll bet anything though that the subscription price will go up soon since sony announced this past week that playstation lost 3 billion dollars in the past two years. someone has to pay for that. i'm betting it's us. |

No, it's going to be a single player game that can be played with friends.
The precise mechanics are not announced, but it would probably be safe to say that the mechanism will be similar.
The demo of the boss fight was spectacular. Unprecedented.
It's very unlikely that Diablo 3 will be out in 2009. Starcraft will almost certainly release first and be given time to have the hype to itself.
I would guess we'll see Diablo 3 no sooner than Christmas 2009. More likely Summer 2010. |
