Mandaar Donkeyluver, while out of town attending a seminar, called home to tell his wife when he’d be back. When a strange woman answered, he asked, "Who is this?"

"I’m the maid," the woman answered.

"We don’t have maid."

The woman continued, "I was hired this morning by the lady of the house."

Mandaar muttered under his breath, "I told her we didn’t need a maid." Then he asked, "This is her husband. Is my wife there?"

"She’s upstairs in the bedroom with someone. I thought it was her husband."

Mandaar suddenly realized what was going on and totally lost his cool. "Would you like to make $50,000?"

The maid hesitated a moment and then asked, "What do I have to do?"

"Get my gun from my desk and shoot the witch and the jerk she’s with." The maid paused for a moment, apparently considering the awful deed, then put down the phone. A minute later he heard two gun shots.

The maid came back on the phone breathing heavily. With a slight quiver in her voice she asked, "What do I do with the bodies?"

A despondent Mandaar muttered, "Oh, just throw them in the swimming pool."

Puzzled, the maid replied, "But you don’t have a pool."

-another long pause-

Then Mandaar asked, "Is this 567-5309?"
