Rule of thumb:

Wait 3-6 months on new MMORPGs. Everyone LOVES the newest one when it first comes out. How it looks means little.

I've watched videos on every aspect of the game. The pretty stuff isn't what draws me in. If that was the case I wouldn't have played everquest for 9 years running. lol.

Yeah but if you read their forums they have a massive amount of people having trouble logging in (2+ hour server queues and mass lag) because the populations are so high and they're not even really going yet, they're overwhelmed with Chinese gold farmers and spammers, and supposedly they have no communication with their forum-goers.

It does look neat but I wouldn't be in a rush to buy it; at this stage a lot of people are just frustrating themselves.

Been playing since closed beta.
its not too bad, plenty of questing to do, which is the best way to level. I'm only at level 20 so haven't reached pvp yet. Tradeskill is straight forward to level up but it cost a lot of money to max it out.
Server queue is what really sucks right now, specifically during night time~.
Other than that, I'm loving the game itself.

Well i won't be playing during peak hours because i'll be on everquest. Guess that's one reason I wasn't too bothered by that.
