Well basicly, M&B:W have a very good single player aspect where you create your party and go out to level up and get money by trading or fighting bandits. With time you can become a lord of a faction (6 of them) and can own villages, castles and later on even towns. Eventually if you want you can even start your own kingdom and then conquer the whole map, exterminating the other factions. Extremely long and entertaining to say the least.

Then you have the multiplayer aspect, normally it plays out like a counter strike kind of gameplay where you choose a faction, choose if you want to play infantry, archer or cavalry, then you have a set amount of gold to buy equipment / weapons. Then you play and earn more money, get better gear and when the map changes you start all over again.

c-rpg is a module, player made, that enable you to earn xp and gold on the crp servers and everything is saved on a database, you can level your character, put skill points and weapon proficiency in what you want and buy items with the gold made while playing on their web page. You start as a farmer with a straw hat and a wood branch and some rocks, fresh meat for more experience players, but then you level up and buy gear and it starts being real fun!

Hardest game I've ever play really, the learning curve is steep. Cliff steep, but the combat is so awesome. You have 4 direction to attack with your mouse, can either block with a shield (easy hold right click) or if you have a 2 handed weapon / polearm you have to manually block by choosing with direction with your mouse when you hold that right mouse button =P

Hi Doledar

Many of the folks from AD that you miss are still playing EQ.
Check out the rosters of the following guilds and you may find them:
Celestial Navigators
Forged in Fire
The Resolution
Halo Guardians
Crimson Tempest
or just do a /who all "players name" once your back in EQ
