Its amazing how many of the old die-hards are still in the game!
What is EQ like now? Same old-same old, or new and interesting?

Game is much as it was, but I think it may begin moving towards more contested content (or at least a mix).
We've been "stuck" on the queen event for a while, but last night we finally got it.
So, should be an exciting time ahead.

Gave up WoW about a year ago. Being able to solo was fun for a while, but quickly got old without a horde of mental-ward escapees to troop around with, and real life got in the way.
Divorce finished up last year, new girlfriend this year, about to buy a house (and scrambling to pack), migrating 50TB of disk to a new storage platform at work and waging war on the IRS. Other than that, all's quiet! 
Gratz on the Queen. I remember the heady days when damn near everything cowered before AD... I'm sure the bitchqueen will soon learn her place under Fobas' heel. |
