Not real sure whats going on, was getting a message that vid card wasn't getting enough power, So I put in a new power supply (450w) was running fine, got some stupid lag last night, went to reboot & got the not enough power message again.
Anyway gonna try a fan & stuff, see how it goes, I'm almost 100% that it's an over heating issue but not sure why it's getting so hot.

This is embarassing, but make sure the power leads are securely connected to your card. I replaced 2 hard drives before I reaized that a power lead had gone "bad".
By bad I mean that it wasn't plugged in so the component was only getting baseline power.
It was really embarassing. |
