Just a question...

I am currently showing about 2 1/2 hours of download. Just wondering what others are seeing, and wondering if I may have a longer time on the DL because I didnt have TBS expansion.

Also... at the Launchpad window, lower left corner I have a button that says "Upgrade textures". When I clicked on it before the patch, I would see I needed 600 meg of hard drive space. The space isnt the issue, but 600 meg to DL? If someone can shine a little light as to what this is for or what this will do, please let me know.

Last thing.... WIZZY LFG for 80... tomorrow...PST.

If you didn't have the TBS expansion, that is why.

na but it will ask you every time....might as well do it while you have 8 hours of server patch time left, and get it over with if space is not an issue.

It doesnt prompt, just has the button there on bottom...

I'll see what happens w/ expansion patch first, then load them if I need to.

Was mainly wondering what they do... Do they now have better graphics in the zones, different toon graphics or what they did is all.

i didn't notice any difference in anything. but i play on a laptop so it might only be different if you have the super twin 650000 meg high volicity graphixs card with the 83444.6 infusion plug in with the 8576d patch.

which i don't.

OK... all items are loaded... have done a complete file scan...

I still show the 13/14 on the log in screen, missing TBS. Ive read about it on the boards, and they say it wont be active until I get billed.

I figured, ok, np, I'll just go out and level a little, since I'm showing I have the SoF expansion...

I go out, first kill and "Ding"... level 76. Ok cool, this might work anyway... after 40 minutes of killing, my exp bar hasn't moved even 1%. (and yes, I'm currenly set for 100% exp, no AA's).

So as usual, Im still screwed. If Sony doesnt correct this in short time, I'm done. This was one of the main reasons I left this game...

Auger, did you buy the expansion from the store or download it?

If you bought it in the store, you need to activate it with your activation code.

OK... I think we have the answer here...

I preordered it online.

Sony hasn't deducted anything off my account... yet.

Posts indicate that we will be allowed to view the new areas in SoF, but will not be able to do much at all until Sony gets their money (gee what a suprise). However, Sony says it should post to our credit cards at 12:01 the day the expansion goes live. (per my preorder confimation e-mail).

We'll wait and see, but if this goes on past a day... screw Sony and EQ.

Grrrrrrrrrr, just gets frustrating. Sad

Not sure if it helps anythign, but i didn't buy SoF download until i got home with 2 boxed copies of SoF and realized i didn't have a DVD drive on my comp. Now i didn't try to get into anything SoF yesterday, but i'm hoping that i can tonight without having any problems.

Just call their support line. Tell them your problem and that the payment hasn't processed while just about everyone else's on earth has.

I'm sorry that happened, but it's a temporary problem and EQ is going to be a lot of fun when we're all levelled up and we rip the crap out of all our raid content with the wrath of a thousand donkeys.

Edit, are you SURE your payment went through? As in you have a confirmation number?

Do NOT allow them to hang up the phone until your account is activated.

Re-iterate the problem over and over and over. Tell them to get you someone higher up. Whatever it takes.

Don't let them off the phone until it's fixed.

They promised you service. Make them give it to you.

Have all my port spells (I think), UI appears to be ok for now, all my maps updated....
