I think that is by far the worst I have ever heard Joy Division play.

There is not much in the way of available video. Their two seminal CDs "Unknown Pleasures" and "Closer" are now reissued and in enhanced audio. A Ian Curtis bio pic, "Control," has been released in Europe.

Joy Division was quite a bit like the Velvet Underground--short lived, but extremely influential. The Killers have tried to cover "shadow play" but it pales by the original.

There are more vids on youtube. I encourage you to check them out. Ian Curtis committed suicide on the eve of their first US tour in 1980. What could have been....
