Ive d/l all the updates for EQ. I can log all the way in. Once in...no keys works (on the keyboard) unless I hold down the shift key...thus making all the letters in caps, cant use forward slash, even to make the enter key work I have to hold down the shift key. The only chatting i can do is local chat and all in caps...and anyone I try to talk to just blows me off thinking im an idiot who has his cap lock on.. one person said "clean your keyboard sicko your shift key is stuck"


This isnt a computer wide problem, only in EQ. There has got to be some setting or something thats making it do that. Ive reset all the key assignments to default, did a full file check..etc etc..

Anyone has some ideas?

Have had that happen to me. I had to keep hitting caps lock / shift until the caps lock turned off. Took a few hits but after that everything went back to normal.

Well now I can't even log in now. After deleting the files tech support advised me to, it now effects the log in screen the same way...I can't type anything unless I press the shift key.

guess it wasnt meant to be!

Have fun all..was hoping to play for a few weeks free.

I had a problem one time that could not be fixed by installing the cd's and updating... I needed to download the trilogy copy and update from there. supposedly they had split the code or something so that they could not get it back to the same copy.

Might want to try that.
