Anyone remember Venthos?

I just happened to be cleaning out my hard drive and came across this old video from early/mid 2004 (or maybe it was 2003...) Anwyay, I didn't see it on youtube, so I posted it myself:

Venthos never messed with me because AD was better than his guild and I would kick his ass anyway (don't mess with Besto.) But...god I remember his antics and how people hated him ..haha.

Lol yeah every couple years I'll pull that vid out, saved it to my hard drive for lulz. My favorite part is when that beastlord is pulling and he starts walking backward like "uh maybe not" then tries to go the other direction instead. I can just picture his face going Shocked

I think if you'd ever given him any reason to come after you he'd find a way to own you though. Gear doesn't always mean much when you're trying to flatten someone. Clearly he's an expert. Experts don't care who ya' are.

He left to go play another game. I just don't remember which one.

I remember one time he blew a gasket in every public channel he could find cuz he gave his guild's main tank 100k back when that was a lot and the guy left the guild and never paid him back. Har har.

Vantage 1.0 ftw! My first raiding experience was under Venthos. He ended up getting busting for z-axis exploits and left EQ.

He went to WoW had a 60 rogue there back when 60 was lvl cap. Siloneo told him who my char I started was and hed kill me and corpse camp me till I sent Lothor/s pally after him and he started dying a ton never saw him again

But pssh, Midari. I remember that day. I ganked ya a few times until you hearthed. It was in Theramore if I recall. No one ever ganked me back =(

I'm still playing on Boulderfist, Horde side. Honestly nothing is as fun as it was in EverQuest. I'm forced into being a cuddley fluffy bunny in WoW since the game doesn't allow for the shenanigans that EverQuest did.

I'd honestly love to rewind back to the days when you could thumb through EQ's LFG tool and see notes set to "NO VANTAGE" on almost every person. *wipes single tear*. The days of EQ were the best times I've had on an MMO ever. This "nice" and "softcore" shit in WoW is disheartening.

Zarabet still plays, also on Boulderfist Horde in (surprise surprise) my guild, Vantage. Bennin, not a clue.

Dankk, Coradon, & Starize still play on the server with me as far as I know.
